Chicken & Zinfandel Sauce


Ingredients:

8 chicken drumsticks

1 cup ACADÉMIE Blend #3 wine

1 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 tbsp paprika

1 tbsp olive oil

rice or pasta

Directions:

In a small pot, bring wine to a light simmer for 5 minutes. Slowly stir in brown sugar and paprika and stir until completely dissolved.
Heat oil in skillet. Add garlic to skillet and cook for 3 minutes. Add drumsticks and cook until no longer pink inside. Pour wine sauce over chicken and allow to simmer for 15-20 minutes. Baste chicken with sauce every 5 minutes.
Serve over rice or pasta - and don’t forget to pour the remaining sauce over the chicken after serving!
