Clams Steamed in White Wine

A delicious, simple and cheap seafood dish you can't beat!


2 lbs steamed clams

1 cup ACADÉMIE Blend #2

2 ounces butter (optional - for dipping)

Scrub clam shells under cold water with a stiff brush to remove and dirt or sand. Add ACADÉMIE wine to pot and boil for 5 minutes to remove alcohol. Steam clams with a steamer and wine for approximately 5-10 minutes until clams open. Throw away any clams that do not open.

Melt butter in a small pot on the stove, or a small bowl in the microwave.

Dip clams in butter as you eat.

10-15 minutes

Serves 1-2 (as an appetizer)
